People's Sea-Monkey Stories

I was so excited when I ordered my Sea Monkeys. I recieved them 5 days later and did step one and the next day when I got home I did step 2. Now all this I did according to the directions. As I stirred I never saw a sea monkey I didn't even see any dots! I was so dissapointed. I thought oh well I'll just check tomorrow.......... well this went on for quite a few days until I said enough I will just send off for some new ones. Lastnight however me and 2 of my sisters were sitting in my room and my eldest sister was like whats that and I said it was for my sea monkeys but they didn't hatch and then she goes well something is swimming around in there so I looked and sure enough I had sea monkeys! I am so excited now I apparently have had them hatched for a while because babies are popping up with the big ones everywhere!

Mine were some sort of mutated bunch, they grew almost an inch long each, and they did in fact eat each other. Once, somehow, a fly got into the ocean zoo and they ate him too. I'm so scared of Sea-Monkeys now!

My poor Sea-Monkeys! First one at a time they started to die s000 I fed them more food.(that I just bought) the next morning they all were dead! So I heard that if you let the water evaporate that you can buy the chemicals to re-hatch them. It has been 1/2 year and the water still has not evaporated. Boo Hoo

One time a sea monkey swam really fast to the top of the tank, jumped up, and did a back flip. It was a female I think.

My sea Monkey's keep knocking into each other now they keep swimming in circles.

My daughter set up her Sea-Monkey aquarium before we went on vacation. She followed the instructions in the book. The problem is, we were gone for 2 weeks and she left the top off so the water got dusty. Well, she stirred in the eggs anyway and they hatched just fine even though the water is cloudy looking. Then, we had an ant invasion. She left some candy on her desk which attracted a small army which also overran the Sea-Monkey aquarium. We managed to get most of the ants out of it - yes, they were ALL OVER it, even in the water. Now we have cloudy water with dead ants lying on the bottom.

Much to my dismay, my school of sea-monkeys died within a couple of days of hatching. Strangely, their aquarium was tipped over and the next day I awakened to a sight of tiny crystals. Yes friends, my little pets had crystallized, and I never got to feed them any Banana Treats.

I have just had my first mating couple and in two days another two couples have followed suit. My trouble is that another male has grasped one couple and won't let go. He doesnt seem to be in the right position but my worry is that he is going to kill the female.

It was Christmas and we had about 10 realatives over. Some of them were in their 80's and others of them in their teen's to 20's. I set up a home-made projector and projected my Sea Monkeys onto my wall and watched them by myself for about 2 or 3 minutes.(all they were doing was swimming and playing) It was so intreresting and funny that I called all of my relatives into my room to watch the Sea Monkeys play. So I turned the Light on and beamed it through the tank. One couple after another started swimming through the beam of light and and being projected. The only thing was each one of these couples were mating. It took a few seconds for most everyone to figure out what they were doing and everyone thought I was a huge pervert from that christmas on.
